Clacts - 50 if you esl icebreakersA sort of ‘20 Questions’ for learning English, these hilarious ideas for ESL learners not only help break the ice by giving each ESL student the chance to speak in front of everyone in a fun and relaxed way but also let you get a sense of their English level while helping to develop their vocabulary as they read the cards and listen to others in the group.

For this icebreaker, simply take some of the questions from this list of 50 ideas and write them on a piece of card. Then ask everyone to sit in a circle and place the cards face down in the center. Each student will take turns to select a card at random from the list and read it out loud to the group before giving their answer. Let the other students ask questions. The student then hands the card to you and the next student selects a card.
